Public disabled parking spaces are available at Domplatz and in the Aegidiimarkt parking garage. Both entrances to the museum are barrier-free.

Wheelchairs can be borrowed free of charge from the cash desk. Folding chairs are available at various points in front of the exhibition rooms.

Wheelchair-accessible toilets are located on all floors.

There are induction loops and an inductive hearing system. Media guides with videos in German Sign Language can be borrowed from the ticket office.

There are tactile orientation maps on every floor of the museum.
